This annual walk/run involves infants, toddlers, preschoolers, parents, teachers, and community members in outdoor exercise. Kids raises pledges and Teaching Tree seeks grants, donations (monetary and in-kind) and volunteers to help with the event. All proceeds go toward Teaching Tree's provision of Stretch-n-Grow and Mighty Kicks exercise classes and visits to the Northside Aztlan Community Center gymnasium, provided at no extra charge to families.
Bidding on small plates hand-painted by toddlers and preschoolers is only part of the fun, and education, at this fun social. Guests will enjoy international fare from Fort Collins restaurants, local microbrews, wines, and spirits served in commemorative glasses, live music, a program, and an extensive silent auction with something for everyone. Proceeds will benefit Teaching Tree's school readiness and tuition assistance programs.
